Bossa Nova

Bossa Nova is an elegant and sultry dance developed in America. It is perfectly designed to suit Bossa Nova music. It borrows from the Rumba and Samba as well as Foxtrot. Being a 'designer' dance, the steps and rhythm are a little unusual, however the mood of the dance is its most important feature. Bossa Nova is a beginners dance perfect for people who have never danced before.

L-Jay Lunde is the instructor for the dance studio Dans på roser. Educated in dance, L-Jay has been a professional instructor for nearly twenty years in over 20 different dance styles. L-Jay instructs dance in Alta and Tromsø, she is the resident instructor for UiT danseklubb and teaches for Salsademika amongst supporting other activities and productions.
